History of Finex
Finex Oy is a manufacturer of speciality products since 1990. Its roots go back as far as to the 1960’s when Finland’s sugar industry was very active. Below are some of the important milestones during the history of Finex:
- 1990 Finex was founded
- 1990 The first product group was the chromatographic separation resins (the actual production on site had started already in 1979)
- 1992 A new product group came in when the production of powdered resins started
- 1996 The production of XLPS micro beads started
- 2000 The Award for Know-how and High Quality Workmanship 2000 from The Association for Finnish Work, “Kultainen Avain 2000”
- 2000 The Export Award 2000 from The Junior Chamber of Commerce in Finland, “Vientitykki 2000”
- 2001 Provincial Award for Innovative Product Development 2001, “Innosuomi 2001”
- 2002 The 2001 Internationalization Award from The President of the
Republic of Finland
