Finex wants to tailor polymers and resins exactly for your requirements. Our goal is to develop, manufacture and market polymer-based performance products which bring high value to our customers in their own manufacturing processes.

Our R&D team works closely with our marketing and production operations. We have laboratory and pilot scales reactors for polymerization and functionalization. Our pilot plant has been renovated during 2007. Our equipment serves to test newly develop recipes and is also used to produce smaller quantities of products for customers’ evaluation. Resin properties such as mean bead size, bead size distribution, degree of cross-linkage and pore size can be modified. The R&D team is closely linked to the full scale production processes, which ensures a successful technical transfer from a pilot scheme to full-scale production. Resins can be tested in our own laboratory, where we have a good range of equipment. If you need special resins in your process, please do not hesitate to contact our R&D team.  

We co-operate intensively with our customers, and at the same time we have created long-term confidential relationships with various universities and research organizations. Together with our own extensive expertise, these links give us a broad base on which to develop new, innovative products which are designed specifically for each of our customer’s requirements. We have had very fruitful co-operation with, for example, the Lappeenranta University of Technology and their ion exchange experts.
